Emulsion-bound Mats

E-glass, nonwoven structures available in weights ranging from 225-600gsm consisting of non-aligned glass fibers, sliced from a spinning cake. The glass fibers have been chemically bonded by an emulsion based binder. Our products are characterized by a very good wettability in polyester resins and is suitable where there is no requirement for transparency of laminate.

 

Emulsion-bound mats are suitable for processing with all types of unsaturated polyester resins used for hand laminations and contact moulding (hand lay-up).
