Multi-axial fabrics

Multi-axial fabrics are produced as bi-axial, tri-axial or quad-axial fabrics (2,3, or layers of bound, undirectional fibres) which are sometimes used in combination with chopped rovings or chopped strand mat (CSM).

 

The construction of the fabric is dependent on the final application. Typical applications for multi-axial fabrics include wind blades, industrial products, marine and sports goods.
